Hi Forum
There are two Intel compilers, free, I believe it is the 11.xxx series, I downloaded them from Intel, they come as tarballs with rpms with an install shell script.
So I installed rpm, and alien prior to try to install the compilers...
So far so good... they say it is not a supported OS... but I managed to compile a "hello world" app.
I tried to use these two , ifort, and icc to compile faster binaries in Code Aster... some how the build fails, complaining about an Unset LANG environment.
I explicitly set expot LANG=C in the sourcing files for icc and ifort environments... no avail.... :-(
Therefore... in a Debian Lenny system, compilation of Code aster 9.4 with intel compilers fail...
Does anybody know how to solbe this...?
I searched and Googled for this.. and I could not find any satisfactory answer...
Help pls... :-(
Best regards
Alex
